This Cusimax 1500W is 13.6 x 10.3 x 4.1 inches in size and the hotplate is 7.4 inches in diameter. It is fully earthed and comes with a 3 pin plug and a 1 meter power cord to allow a bit of flexibility as to where you can place your burner safely and it comes with rubber feet on the base so once you have it in place it won’t move easily.

This portable single hot plate has a thermal fuse installed so that you are protected from the unit overheating. It looks very stylish and has 2 control knobs on the front, one is an on/off control and the other controls the temperature level settings. The hot plate has 7 thermostatically controlled settings so you have as much heat control as you need to cook a variety of foods. Once you set it to the level you require it will keep the heat steady by continuously switching itself of and on to maintain the right heat.

The negatives found are mainly the unit gets very hot including the control knobs so you need to be very careful you don’t burn yourself as it takes about an hour to cool down afterwards. The numbers on the adjustment knob are on the face of the knob and difficult to see when cooking it would be easier if there were marks on the rim so you could see from above.
